Introduction to the latest trends in software engineering, including program specification and requirements. Topics include problem solving techniques and software development. Particular emphasis on the design of large information systems projects.
At the beginning of the semester, one student was chosen as the project leand and the remaining students were divided into 3 teams: Planning, Web Development, and Android development. The students were charged with creating an Android app and an accompanying web site for 2 professors in the Biology department. Throughout the semester, the students worked with the Biology professors to refine the specifications and develop the products.
